Well, for all the I|A members who was pissed that i still haven't put the rear wheels on yet, Be intrigue.
I just sold the old rear 4 Lug knuckles for 200.00(thanx guy) and i will be installing the rear hubs and tires this week!!! No other choice.
Also, i fell to realize that I improperly installed my clutch kit (not fully torqued).
Trans drop #3
So, tonight i'll go to HF to get a torque wrench and torque down all the pressure plate bolts. Hopefully that will solve my engaging issue...

I'm sorr i haven't updated lately. I've beentry to sort out my braking issue. I don't have brake pressure ATM. So, i have to change the Booster. I've changed the M (master cylinder), checked the calipers, and bled the system. Still no brakes.
Anyways, more pictures to hold you over haha...
It's still a work in progress, but....http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...615_170907.jpg

p.s i'll be painting the rest of the wheels desert sand like the front with matching center caps too.
that sucks about the brakes. be safe man. looks great though, glad you got the swap completed, cant wait til you get the brakes situated so you can get to other mods
Good luck with the brake problem bro. You've got some nice cars in that garage.....
Yeah the brakes is a HUGE dilemma, but i'm glad to fix it now. The garage isn't mine, but a really good friend of mine. I race his son's and nephew's race spec fox bodys (both stroked 331 c.i) Dinan M3(family bus), Caddy STS-V(wife's), Custom Z06(18 son's car) Not in picture Big block Stingray, Viper Venom 640? Track Viper (700hp+)
Coming along nicely, man.
Wow, your friends lookin to adopt another son, i'm free :goodjob: I like the polished wheels in back. What's the plan for those?
Sorry, i'm cuter and more acceptable to being adopted by them. Plus, I already gave them the papers :taun: LOL
Yeah, i like the polish in the rear too. The fronts are paint desert sand, but i'm thinking of striping them and painting the set white. not sure tho here's a picture

polished would be a better selection, although alot more work
They were polished already and i desided to paint them -_-, because i thought they would look Latino Lowrider style!
DON'T USE ANYTHING i post for this haha Not everything lines up.
Parts List:
93 Ex rear spindle
98 Prelude Hub bearings
98 Prelude Rotors
98 Prelude Caliper and brackets
92 Accord Hub washer and nut
Originally i was going to use my rear spindle but the shafts was too large.
(look at the size difference in the hub barrels)
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...526_135439.jpghttp://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...526_135433.jpg

But the braking issue is still there. So, today i'll be picking up a Booster today and slap it on thursday after work.
Are you bleeding them in the correct order? Car doesn't have ABS, correct?
Yea it's an ex with brakes.. You think something is stopping the system? I bled the furthest to closet from the master
The braking system operates diagonally. If your right rear is furthest from the MC, Id try the right rear first then bleed the front left, and follow that by bleeding the left rear third and the front right last. That is what I would *think* would be correct but look around on Google to see if there is a definitive bleed sequence for your generation with ABS.
Will do :goodjob:
I finally painted the rear wheels and i think it looks way better than polished.:bouncy:

This is one of the big reasons why i decided to do something to the car. I'm very happy with the attention "Cleft" has received from everyone.
Well, it's been 100+ out for the last past week. So, finally it cooled down and I was able to adjust my coils more.

I got my knob in and installed to say the least...It's AMAZING... The craftsmanship and character is outstanding. Also, the style i have is very comfortable, smooth and natural. Most importantly, the height is perfect to rest your arm on.:alright I will be purchasing another style sooner or later.

Looks awesome.
Polished is more that style, but to be more accurate, chrome is where it is in the lowrider community. Some people do paint spokes on wires, but it isn't quite as common as all chrome.
Don't forget bodywork. Car needs quite a bit around the fenders.
mixed_body, don't let the above replies by me confuse you. I love wagons. I really like the wagon version of the Accord you have. I like your car. What I'm not fond of is it is too low for the tires. As low as it sits, the tires look factory size. In other words, too tall. I do love that you left it on 15" wheels, though. That's on the top end of the real lowrider thing. They would've looked terrible painted white. They don't look bad painted the way they are now, but they don't look all that good. That polished look would have been perfect for your car. With the size and ride height your car has and that particular style of wheel, polished would fit perfectly.
My opinion in finality? Either raise the car an inch or so or put smaller sidewall tires on it, put the wheels back to polish, clean up the dents and dings and paint.
Good job, though, homey. Later, QD.
Thanx bro, he's finally coming along.
First off i wan to say that i love your classic honda :)
Now, when i was talking about the low rider style I was referring to the polished look. I know with the wheels off the car they didn't really do it for me
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...224_101513.jpg
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...224_101528.jpg
So, I painted them a color to compliment the design and my car's color.
BTW, I would never put paint on any car, before bodywork... I'm not some 12 year old, i've been wrenching for years.:goodjob:
As for me raising the car! :lmao: NEVER!!! I got in an argument with the wifey and my father, because of its impracticality. These tires was bought to get the car on the road. Once, i get an alignment i'll get smaller tires (165 55 15). This car isn't for everyone. The fitment and stance of the car will not be sacrificed for comfort.
Body work and paint will come shortly, depending on my living conditions within the next 6 or 7 months. I may be moving.
Thanx for your imput man! All you guys supporting the car helps me to keep going:goodjob:
Trust me when i say raise it because of the tire sidewall height, I was only saying that because of how odd it looks with tall walls. I'm probably the most extreme person you'll come across when it comes to (the real deal) slamming cars. Being doing that since 1987. So don't think I'm advocating raising your car, lolol. Now a shorter sidewall will definitely get rid of the odd look. Personally, though, for me disliking stretching tires, I would go with the more common 195/50-15. Great low sidewall for being that low and more rubber contact.
Also, I didn't mean to insinuate that you didn't know what you were doing in regards to you painting the car. I was just filling in the blanks, so to say, to other responders.
And lastly, those pics of the wheels in polished look are astounding. The pics aren't but the wheels are, lolol. I can only imagine how gorgeous your car would look with those wheels polished and a paint job on it.
But like I said, do you, man, and it's all good. And thank you for the compliment on my car. I do appreciate it. We need to meet someday, man. Later, QD.
After seeing them polished.....I agree with your choice of going gold :goodjob: , but for the love of GOD, please change the fabric on the door panels. Black suede would look so fresh, but the hawaiin tourist shirt is not workin'.
I disagree. On both counts, but for the purpose of this particular reply, on the choice of interior fabric. I didn't notice it until you mentioned it, Genji, but that Hawaiian motif is awesome. But the trick to really making it look good, is to continue that throughout and not just partially. I would do inserts on the seats that way and probably create an insert in the headliner with it. Not too much as then it would just get too busy. Combine those inserts with black fabric or a royal blue to match the outerior of the car. Later, QD.
Sorry if i can off as defensive. I just like to protect my car's integrity and accomplishment. yeah, i might consider the tire size. i dont like have such a small contact patch so i'll see once the tire ordering time comes.
haha thanx man, and nah the print is staying for now... It's consistent for the look im going for like the wood shifter. I'll be adding a stained wheel too.
O that wasn't last of the fabric you'll see. I'll be incorporating that with the trunk cover and i'll add black silk to the roof liner. This will all be tied in with darker carpet and leather seats.
Not sure if you knew or not but if you want to camber more up front, swap over to Skunk2 camber arms from an EF.
Personally, I love how it sits. Body work, paint, and a swap and it will be complete IMO.
Wow  the last person I thought that would contest the fabric, lol. I guess i could see that motif working tho, but I still think an elegant black suede with polished knick-knack accents would look better. Even still i'm always up to see something new so i'll retract and hold judgement til I see more :goodjob:
No, dude, I didn't see you as offensive. And yes, if you run a 195/50-15, you'll have plenty of contact with pavement and a nice, low tire wall size. What is the width of the wheel?
At first, I didn't think the wood shifter would work with a Hawaiian theme, but now I think it really would. Especially using the wood steering wheel and maybe some wood dash trim.
Cool shit, man. With the roof liner, what I was saying was maybe have the outer area of the liner in the black silk and the inner part as the same Hawaiian print. I can PAINT it for a better look if you want. Lolol. Just throwing shite out there.
Lolol. The particular print he is using may go well inside the car. It's not loud and crazy. I guess we'll see, yes? Later, QD.
Wood steeringwheel is a must, ....this is starting to pan out in my head :goodjob: eagerly anticipating updates again
Well no updates other thank I put the car up for adoption for a day. Lol
